HostMySite Offers ColdFusion 8 Deal

September 25, 2008 -- (WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) -- Managed hosting provider HostMySite (hostmysite.com) announced on Wednesday it is offering ColdFusion 8 Enterprise licenses (adobe.com/products/coldfusion/) for $149 per month when customers purchase at least one dedicated server.

"We have worked hard with Adobe in an effort to enhance our ColdFusion solutions for HostMySite customers," says Art Zeile, CEO of HostMySite. "Coupling HostMySite.com's industry leading support with ColdFusion 8 Enterprise at this reduced price point meets this goal."

ColdFusion 8 Enterprise can be used for delivering multiple websites and applications on one or more servers.

It includes all the capabilities of ColdFusion 8 Standard, as well as added features for enabling enterprise-class business applications, such as CF application monitors, sandbox security, enhanced event gateways, and multiple administrators and instances.

The regular price for ColdFusion 8 Enterprise software is $7,499, while the upgraded version runs for $3,750. Those users interested in trying out the software can download a free trial version of ColdFusion 8 here.

In addition to its partnership with HostMySite, Adobe works with a few other hosting partners, including CrystalTech, Media 3, CF Dynamics, and Alentus, to provide hosting plans based on ColdFusion products.

HostMySite says it provides individuals, small businesses, and large corporations with dedicated server, VPS hosting, and ColdFusion hosting, which are supported by around-the-clock live support through toll-free telephone, email, and live online chat.

In June, HostMySite was acquired by Wachovia Capital Partners, the private equity arm of the Wachovia Corporation bank.
