Moniker Launches Domain MaxLock

September 24, 2008 -- (WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) -- Domain aftermarket provider and Oversee (oversee.net) subsidiary, Moniker (moniker.com) announced on Wednesday it has launched Domain MaxLock (domainmaxlock.com), a product designed to protect valuable domain assets from employee errors or malicious cyber attacks.

The issue of domain asset security is an increasingly important one, as domain investors, enterprise intellectual property and brand managers are determined to protect their online revenue and brand reputation.

Moniker says it prides itself on never losing any of its clients' domain names to hijacking or theft. The introduction of MaxLock is its way of  has has enhanced its already exceptional reputation for domain security with the introduction of MaxLock.

Unauthorized transfers, which are often a result of shared accounts, employee errors, high-jacked email accounts, automated transfers or pushes by domain marketplace distribution networks, can cause significant risks to businesses, as well as substantial damage to operations and revenue. Unlike a standard registrar lock, MaxLock ensures that domain assets cannot be transferred or pushed to another account without a thorough offline validation and account verification process performed by the Moniker security team.

Monte Cahn, head of Oversee's aftermarket and registrar division, says the division will continue to develop products and services that give domain registrants, buyers and sellers the confidence to conduct business with Oversee.
