September 22, 2008 -- (WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) -- Web host 1&1 Internet UK (1and1.co.uk) has introduced a new pay-per-click service that guarantees traffic from search engine advertisements for a monthly flat rate.
According to 1&1's announcement late last week, the 1&1 Advertising Package is a PPC solution that generates predetermined levels of traffic, starting at £99 per month. Designing and deploying campaigns using custom keywords, 1&1 coordinates Google advertisements for the customer, allowing smaller-sized businesses to access online marketing with minimal investment.
The new service creates and manages sponsored links on Google on the customer's behalf. According to 1&1, the Advertising Package combines GoogleAdwords technology with 1&1's many years of online experience. Website owners purchase a traffic level and provide 1&1 with their URL, then 1&1 agents review the customer's website and setup a custom Google campaign. 1&1 agents monitor and modify each campaign until all clicks have been achieved.
Clients are billed no setup or consulting fees, and advertising packages range from 150 clicks priced at £99, 300 clicks for £189, to 600 clicks for 349 per month. Unused clicks are refunded at the end of the month.
"With our largest package, the average one click costs are as low as 58 pence," 1&1 chief executive officer Oliver Mauss said in a statement. "We are the first web host in the UK to offer guaranteed success for search engine advertising -- with zero effort for the customer and at stunning prices."
The new PPC service is the latest marketing service 1&1 has brought to customers. Earlier in September, online customer feedback and reputation management services provider RatePoint (ratepoint.com) announced it would offer its website reputation management service to all new 1&1 business hosting customers.
