September 21, 2007 -- (WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) -- Web hosting provider DiscountASP.NET (discountasp.net) announced on Wednesday that it has re-packaged and re-launched the latest Microsoft Windows 2008 Server and Microsoft Internet Information Services 7.0 beta-hosting program with the addition of .NET Framework 3.5 hosting.

The company says .NET Framework 3.5 expands on the previous versions with language integrated query and new tools for developers to simplify building applications using Windows Presentation Foundation, Windows Communication Foundation and Windows Workflow Foundation. The new combined IIS7 and ASP.NET 3.5 hosting plan is available to all DiscountASP.NET customers at no additional cost.

"DiscountASP.NET is committed to innovation in the ASP.NET hosting niche and being an early adopter for new .NET technology," says Takeshi Eto, VP of marketing at DiscountASP.NET. "Now, our customers can begin experimenting with .NET Framework 3.5 in a live hosted environment. We are also excited to offer our customers with some features that they have been asking for, like LINQ and FastCGI."

DiscountASP.NET customers can enable their free beta .NET 3.5 hosting accounts instantly via their hosting control panel, says the company. This beta-hosting program will continue until the final version of Windows Server 2008 is officially released.
