HostMySite Uses Internap Platform

September 18, 2007 -- (WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) -- Internet business solutions provider Internap Network Services (internap.com) announced on Monday that Web hosting provider HostMySite (hostmysite.com) has adopted its flow control platform technology. HostMySite chose the Internap platform based on its automated, intelligent routing, which has helped the company to improve user experience for its customers.

The 10Gbps FCP box enables HostMySite to manage and improve its network performance while lowering costs, increasing customer response time and enhancing user experience. Using Internap's FCP technology, HostMySite has access to automated route optimization, enabling the company to focus on its core business offerings.

Since deploying Internap's FCP technology, HostMySite says it has been able to move beyond the traditional, manual methods of network optimization to reduce latency and packet loss and decrease Internet routing issues.

Internap annnounced last month that Blackboard's ASP Services group selected its intelligent route control technology to optimize the performance of its multi-homed network.
