September 15, 2008 -- (WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) -- Web hosting software provider Ensim (ensim.com), and email and instant messaging compliance provider Messaging Solutions (messagingsolutions.com) announced on Monday that they have entered into a reseller partnership.

The company will join Ensim's growing team of resellers, which also includes IT service provider Info Support (infosupport.nl) and communications technologies provider Fivefront (fivefront.com).

Under the agreement terms, Messaging Solutions will sell and support Ensim Unify Enterprise Edition to its global enterprise customer base to enable the company to manage its messaging infrastructures. Ensim Unify, which self-installs in less than one hour and reduces the number of help desk calls by as much as forty percent, enables enterprises to overcome challenges, such as provisioning, password management, role management, and auditing and compliance of Active Directory servers.

The solution also cuts down on repetitive administrative tasks, helping comapnies improve workforce effectiveness and enabling IT departments in medium and large-sized organizations to focus on more strategic tasks. As an independent reseller, Messaging Solutions serves organizations of all sizes spanning various industries, including energy, healthcare, legal, financial, government, education, and others.

Messaging Solutions will sell and support the complete Ensim Unify Enterprise Suite, as well as its individual modules.

Among the modules are Microsoft Active Directory Manager, which facilitates the administration of complex tasks; Microsoft Exchange Manager, which prevents misconfiguration of Exchange server, increases uptime and automates key tasks; and Mobility Manager, which enables easy configuration and wipe of smart phones Over The Air.

Other modules include Self-Service and User Manager, which enables employees to self-manage, from distribution lists to email profiles; Password Manager, which enables employees to reset their own passwords via a web-based portal; and Migration Manager, which automates the migration schedule of mailboxes from Exchange 2003 to 2007. "We're pleased to announce Messaging Solutions as a new reseller partner," says Francois Depayras, vice president of marketing and alliances at Ensim. Ensim will be demonstrating its Unify Enterprise platform at Interop New York (interop.com), held September 15 to 19 at the Javits Center in New York City.  Last month, Ensim announced it is offering support for the Microsoft Solution for Hosted Messaging and Collaboration Version 4.5.
