Ensim Expands VoIP Offerings

September 11, 2006 -- (WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) -- Web hosting automation software provider Ensim (ensim.com) announced on Monday that it has made significant advancements in its VoIP strategy, including the expansion of its partnership with VoIP application software provider BroadSoft (broadsoft.com). 

Ensim has extended its partnership with BroadSoft to include integration of its Unify VoIP software with BroadSoft's BroadWorks release 13 VoIP application platform. The companies' combined product offering gives service providers enhanced tools for automating provisioning and integrating with their existing OSS applications to deliver and manage VoIP services.

Among the key features Ensim Unify brings to the BroadWorks VoIP platform is its devices service manager, which enables service providers to efficiently and easily configure customers' SIP phones and other VoIP devices. This service manager provides an extension toolkit to add new devices easily.

"Our goal is to provide an, 'unfair advantage' to service providers to help them compete in today's fast-changing telecommunications world," says Dave Wippich, CEO of Ensim. "Our partnership with BroadSoft aligns with this goal by enabling us to deliver to our customers the industry's most effective hosted VoIP solution that automates and simplifies their operational processes."

Ensim recently announced that UK Web hosting provider United Hosting has selected Ensim Pro X as the control panel for all its servers.
