3Tera Shaken by CEO's Passing

September 6, 2007 -- (WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) - Utility computing platform developer 3Tera (3tera.com) said this week its CEO and founder Vladimir Miloushev passed away suddenly last Thursday as a result of a brain aneurysm. He was 45 years old.
The company made several moves Tuesday to fill the gaps left by Miloushev. Chairman Barry X Lynn assumed the additional role of CEO, while CTO Peter Nickolov has been named president and COO. Finally, Eric Tessler has been named VP of engineering.
"Vlad was a brilliant, extraordinary visionary who will be missed by everyone that knew him," says Lynn. "He built a strong company by surrounding himself with exceptional people. 3Tera is strong and fully capable of not only achieving its goals, but exceeding them."
Prior to joining the 3Tera, Lynn served as president and CEO of Be eXceL Management. Peter Nickolov has served as CTO of 3Tera since the company first formed in 2004. He and is one of the principal inventors of 3Tera's core technology who designed and led the development of AppLogic grid operating system. Eric Tessler, lead software engineer since the company's formation, will now be responsible for leading the engineering team and all product development.
