August 14, 2007 -- (WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) -- Application traffic management software provider Zeus Technology (zeus.com) announced on Monday it has named Travis Reed to the position of vice president corporate development.

Reed is responsible for establishing strategic corporate partnerships, facilitating long term opportunities with key industry sector organizations and broadening various revenue models available to Zeus, including OEM partnerships and channel development opportunities. He is also responsible for promoting Zeus' market positioning to technology and financial analysts.

Previously a software analyst on Wall Street, Reed also has over 10 years of experience in selling and marketing technology solutions, holding previous positions at IBM, BEA, Microsoft and Merrill Lynch.

"As we continue to expand Zeus and look to grow our market-leading capabilities around the world, Travis' knowledge in strategic partnerships, analyst experience and corporate development will be a great asset to our business," says Paul Brennan, chairman of Zeus Technology.

Earlier this month, Zeus named Dave Asprey as vice president of technology strategy.
