PetroLiance Picks Peak 10 Hosting

August 9, 2006 -- (WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) -- Data center operator and managed services provider Peak 10 (peak10.com) announced on Wednesday it has added fuel and lubricants distributor PetroLiance to its diverse and growing customer portfolio. Peak 10 will provide PetroLiance with managed colocation, reliable bandwidth and a complete managed security solution out of its data center facility in the Research Triangle region of North Carolina.

PetroLiance was formed by the merger of four premier petroleum, fuels and lubricant distribution companies earlier this year. The four companies were Boncosky Oil Company of Chicago, Commercial Ullman Lubricants Company of Ohio, Young Oil Company of South Florida and Lubricant Technologies, which is active in Georgia and the Carolinas.

The combined company will provide the service and attention of a local business and the strength and depth of resources of a national organization. PetroLiance's use of technology is an important aspect of the company's vision to minimize its customers' total cost of ownership while improving performance and productivity.

"As a newly formed organization, we came to Peak 10 in search of a true business partner that would solve our IT issues today and be there down the road as our company grows and needs change," says Bob Crouch, CEO of PetroLiance. "Peak 10 developed a data center solution that will keep our information technology infrastructure secure and available around the clock. Their Raleigh-based team designed our Wide Area Network and implemented a managed firewall solution that will secure our systems but ensure access for our customers and key suppliers."
