Private Domain Depot Cuts Pricing

August 4, 2006 -- (WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) -- Domain registrar and Web hosting provider Private Domain Depot (privatedomaindepot.com) announced on Wednesday it is promoting online identity protection by offering private domain registrations for $1.95 each.

The company is currently focusing on privacy, safety and identity protection online. Private Domain Depot says it believes every method of prevention may one day be part of the solution. With identity theft on the rise, a thief sometimes only needs a minimum of information to cause years of harm, hardship or worse. The company says it is on a mission to inform the consumer that private domain registration is a safer option.

"Private Domain Depot feels strongly that no one would put a large sign in their front yard with the personal information of their family members or home business posted openly to be viewed by strangers," says Lynn Johnston, office manager for Private Domain Depot. "A Web site holds a wealth of information about a person, family or home business. However, millions of people are unknowingly offering the same information to billions of strangers worldwide."

On top of the reduced price on private domain registrations, regular domain registrations are on sale for $1.99 and include free blog, email, Web starter page, parked page and domain forwarding.
