August 1, 2007 -- (WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) -- IT security provider Alert Logic (alertlogic.com) announced last week that it had been chosen by Guaranty Bond Bank to provide IT security protection for its network of 12 banking centers located throughout East Texas and Fort Stockton in West Texas.

Alert Logic's Threat Manager solution uses a software-as-a-service platform to provide a combination of intrusion protection, vulnerability management and IT compliance automation as a single product.

"Guaranty Bond Bank's reputation for conservative soundness extended to its approach to IT security," says Danny Muskrat, director of network security for Guaranty Bond Bank. "We are committed to providing reliable IT security protection for our banking centers and our customers so we conducted a thorough and extensive search for the best solution available. We concluded that Alert Logic was the best solution to extend the highest level of IT security across our network."

Alert Logic says its business has grown since 2002 to include customers across the United States in a variety of industries that includes finance, oil and gas, healthcare, utilities, education, legal and state and local government.
