Verio Attracts Resellers with Free Month of VPS Hosting: Companies looking to boost revenues are finding Verio's Free VPS promotion the right fit for getting started as Hosting Reseller.

July 29, 2008 -- (WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) -- Application technology provider Zeus Technology (zeus.com) announced on Tuesday it has launched the Zeus Service Provider License Agreement program (zeus.com/spla).

The program enables service providers to use Zeus' Zeus Extensible Traffic Manager software on a monthly basis with the flexibility to deploy whatever number of ZXTMs the company needs, allowing them to create additional revenue opportunities with minimal upfront costs.

Web hosting provider Logicworks (logicworks.com) has become Zeus' first SPLA partner to support business-critical applications and content.

With Zeus' SPLA program, Logicworks can now offer ZXTM to their customers through its existing utility-based revenue model without an out-of-pocket software purchase.

ZXTM is the only application delivery solution available as software, making the formulation of a specific service provider licensing program very simple. Earlier this month, Zeus was  selected by Everything Channel as a CRN Emerging Tech vendor for its ZXTM software.

"In today's growing and highly competitive web hosting market, we understand the importance of our service provider customers being able to add new services to their end users quickly and easily, with a flexible cost structure," says Paul Brennan, chairman and CEO of Zeus Technology. "We are thrilled to be able to offer a SPLA program that allows service providers to give customers a reliable, fault tolerant service whilst generating additional revenue."

Zeus Technology says it provides application delivery software to ensure applications are faster, highly available and easy to manage.

The company says the ZXTM solution lowers costs for data center space and power, reduces the cost of bandwidth and offers the highest scalability of any application delivery controller or load balancer in the industry.
