Verio Attracts Resellers with Free Month of VPS Hosting: Companies looking to boost revenues are finding Verio's Free VPS promotion the right fit for getting started as Hosting Reseller.

July 22, 2008 -- (WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) -- Certification authority and secure sockets layer solution provider GlobalSign (globalsign.com) has launched two new SSL deployment technologies, AutoCSR and One-Click SSL, to help hosts provision SSL Certificates to customers.

According to the announcement Tuesday, the technologies will provide companies with "unparalleled degrees of automation during the SSL application, approval and installation processes."AutoCSR automates the SSL Certificate lifecycle, which involves CSR generation, application, approval and certificate installation, making it possible to offer SSL to customers at different technical levels, avoiding customer support issues.

Slated by GlobalSign to be the most revolutionary SSL delivery development since the domain validated SSL Certificate (the current standard), One-Click SSL allows hosting companies to fully automate the SSL Certificate application, approval and installation process, creating a level of automation previously impossible for mass SSL reselling.

One-Click SSL claims to eliminate all the issues traditionally associated with hosting companies reselling SSL. Online business solutions provider and host Verio (verio.com) has recently deployed fully integrated One-Click SSL, demonstrating that hosting customers can secure their server with the click of a button without relying "domain approver" mailboxes to be setup and active used in traditional domain validation techniques.

Available to GlobalSign Platinum Partners as an API for web control panel integration or direct server integration,  One-Click SSL will soon offer plug-ins for IIS and Apache.

Late last week, GlobalSign began offering partners additional revenue streams, offering higher revenue per SSL certificate sold.

Founded in 1996 as Europe's first certification authority, GlobalSign was acquired by Tokyo-based GMO Internet (gmo.jp/en/) in October 2006.
