Verio Attracts Resellers with Free Month of VPS Hosting: Companies looking to boost revenues are finding Verio's Free VPS promotion the right fit for getting started as Hosting Reseller.

July 19, 2007 -- (WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) -- Domain registrar AIT Domains (aitdomains.com), division of Web hosting provider Advanced Internet Technologies (ait.com) announced on Wednesday that it is offering all domain names for $6.49 from now through July 30. ICANN recently announced it will increase prices on domains, AIT Domains, like many other domain registrars, is being forced to raise their prices.

"Because our margin is so low on domains, we have no choice but to raise our rates," says Brandy Modrell, AIT Domains project manager. "Unlike so many of our competitors who charge upwards of $15 and in some cases even $35 per domain, AIT Domains charges only what we absolutely have to cover our costs."

Prices are currently scheduled to increase to $8.49 per registration year on August 1, says the company. AIT Domains is encouraging all customers to renew their existing domains for additional years and to register any new domains they may wish to own before the price change goes into effect. AIT Domains says it also welcomes domains transferred from other registrars at these same rates.

The current domain prices will remain in effect until July 30. AIT Domains is also offering several discounted hosting plans from $2.00 per month, all of which include at least one domain name.

AIT Domain announced earlier this month it held a special sale for the Fourth of July.
