(WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) -- Data center design and build provider Sudlows (www.sudlows.com) announced on Friday it has been hired by an undisclosed UK Web hosting firm to construct its third data center at an initial value of $1.5 milllion (£1 million).

Though the name of the Web host was not disclosed in the press release, it did mention that it is one of the "UK's leading Web hosting companies".

Located in in Manchester, the new 3,051 square foot facility will incorporate 12,000 servers inside.

The data center will host a roster of existing high-profile UK clients including HSBC, Barclays, T-mobile and JJB Sports.
