Verio Attracts Resellers with Free Month of VPS Hosting: Companies looking to boost revenues are finding Verio's Free VPS promotion the right fit for getting started as Hosting Reseller.

July 7, 2008 -- (WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) -- Web design and hosting provider Barak Hosting (barakhosting.com) announced on Monday it has introduced its new remote backup service.

With tape backups failing to recover up to 50 percent of the data, Barak Hosting's Online Remote Backup Service offers an alternative solution by eliminating unreliable tapes while providing critical offsite data storage for disaster recovery in one tape-free solution that ensures the full recovery of data.

The data is backed up remotely through the customer's Internet connection and is stored offsite at a highly secure data center for effective disaster recovery availability.

Customers do not have to purchase any hardware or software, as Barak's tape-free backup and recovery service provides a fully automated process that requires little maintenance or resources.

To promote the new service, Barak Hosting is currently offering a free trial of the service for 30 days to store up to 2GB of data.

More new services will soon be announced as Barak Hosting continues to expand its managed services portfolio, says Barak Hosting president Marc Burofsky.

In April, Barak introduced its new reseller hosting program, which provides solutions for website designers, developers and those looking to build their own branded web hosting business.

Barak Hosting provides web hosting and website design services, email, database applications and managed services on shared, virtual private server and dedicated server platforms.

On the subject of file backup, sharing and storage ...

Online backup is becoming common these days. It is estimated that 70-75% of all PC's will be connected to online backup services with in the next decade.

Thousands of online backup companies exist, from one guy operating in his apartment to fortune 500 companies.

Choosing the best online backup company will be very confusing and difficult. One website I find very helpful in making a decision to pick an online backup company is:

http://www.BackupReview.info

This site lists more than 400 online backup companies in its directory and ranks the top 25 on a monthly basis.
