Comodo Offers Zero Touch Linux
July 6, 2006 -- (WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) -- Identity and trust assurance management solutions provider Comodo (comodogroup.com) announced on Wednesday it has released Zero Touch Linux, a complete suite of back office server applications centrally controlled by a Web-based interface. ZTL was developed by Comodo's Positive Software Division, which specialize Web hosting and server automation.
ZTL offers administrators server software pre-configured on Comodo's Linux distribution, Trustix Secure Linux (ztl.trustix.com). The suite is available at $99 per server in downloadable ISO format from Trustix's Web site and can be immediately installed on network servers. It is ideal for small businesses looking to make the switch to Linux, but also serves the needs of the larger enterprise with larger administration requirements.
The software also includes a file server, print server, domain controller, DNS, mail server, Web mail, database server, Web server, proxy server, DHCP server, content filtering server and a firewall. The package reduces the complexities of deploying a Linux infrastructure by reducing the setup of multiple server types to a one time installation and configuration.
"Our continued expansion of Zero Touch Linux is based on the tremendous customer response to our BETA version launched earlier this year", says Melih Abdulhayoglu, President and CEO Comodo. "ZTL is the only office server, server operating system and server control panel in one package. Customers can easily get total control over all server types and upgrades through a singular, easy to use interface delivering true efficiency improvements in server management operations."
