Mercantec Offers New Options

June 30, 2006 -- (WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) -- E-commerce solution provider Mercantec (mercantec.com) announced on Thursday it is now offering new e-commerce options for its businesses. Based on the new Google Checkout, Mercantec has developed several new solutions for merchants to sell online.

Users can take advantage of E-Commerce Express, which enables existing Web site owners to start selling online immediately. Businesses can add e-commerce features to any existing site within minutes. Existing storefront can download a free integration kit for Mercantec SoftCart, or request a custom quote for integrating Google Checkout with nearly any shopping cart system.

New Web sites can get started by selecting from several options for complete Web site solutions that include a unique domain name, Web hosting, email accounts, PowerWebBuilder, E-Commerce Express and more.

"We've been working with Google and several merchant customers throughout the development of Google Checkout, and the feedback from everyone involved has been very positive," says Terry Harris, director of product management at Mercantec. "We're excited about our relationship with Google and participation in this important program."
