Verio Attracts Resellers with Free Month of VPS Hosting: Companies looking to boost revenues are finding Verio's Free VPS promotion the right fit for getting started as Hosting Reseller.

June 29, 2007 -- (WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) -- Web hosting provider SiteGround (siteground.com) announced on Wednesday it is now offering special discounts on the .us domains in celebration of Independence Day. The company says the deal aims to increase the use of this genuine American extension. As part of the SiteGround Independence Day promotion, all customers who start a new .us Web site will receive special discounts on the hosting package prices.

The promotion hopes to increase the number of US customers whose Web sites are accessible both by their existing domain and by its .us extension. Customers will receive a 30 percent discount to register a .us domain name and park it to their existing Web site. "We believe that the .us extension is a little underestimated by our customers, although it may be very useful for websites targeting the US audience," says Kate Mihaleva, marketing and SEO specialist at SiteGround. "It may also help improve a Web site positioning at the US Search engine results. The Independence Day is a very appropriate time for making the .us domains more popular and widely used among our customers."

SiteGround recently announced it is now hosting more than 100,000 domains.
