Web Host Dataside Wins Big Contract

June 29, 2006 -- (WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) -- Data center operator and Web host Dataside (dataside.com) announced on Thursday that had completed a new customer contract with a Fortune 500 company.

Dataside did not name the company, or offer financial details of the deal, but it says the customer will occupy more than 20,000 square feet of data center space, taking up an entire Dataside facility.

The company says it is withholding the customer's name, as well as the geographic location of the facility, due to confidentiality agreements.

The company says it attributes the deal to its ability to deliver customized solutions for large enterprise data center installations.

"This new contract is an outstanding example of our company's capability to bring tailored data center solutions on a large-scale basis to a discriminating enterprise clientele," says Dataside president and CEO Jim deVenny. "I cannot commend our management team enough on their diligence and negotiation skills that brought this deal through to its completion. This significant agreement takes us to a to new plateau, and I fully expect it to be the first of many more to come in the future."
