Verio Attracts Resellers with Free Month of VPS Hosting: Companies looking to boost revenues are finding Verio's Free VPS promotion the right fit for getting started as Hosting Reseller.

June 22, 2007 -- (WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) -- European entertainment industry organization BREIN (anti-piracy.nl) announced that a court has ruled Dutch Web hosting company Leaseweb (leaseweb.com) must shut down private torrent site Everlasting.nu, according to reports released this week.

BREIN serves a similar function to the American MPAA organization, and has reportedly had success recently in having torrent tracker and eDonkey2000 indexing sites shut down. The group says it has shut down 150 sites in total.

The group reportedly sent a cease and desist letter to Everlasting and Leaseweb, initiating legal action after neither company chose to cooperate. Leaseweb, if it fails to cooperate with the judge's orders, will face legal penalties.

BREIN claims in its announcement that Leaseweb is known for hosting illegal sites. The organization says it intends to pursue other action against the company, seeking to have sites shut down.
