NetClarity Launches Auditor v5.0 June 12, 2006 -- (WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) -- Network vulnerability management product provider NetClarity (netclarity.net) announced on Monday it has launched Auditor v5.0, a product that helps IT staff provide better preemptive and proactive network protection. This upgrade to NetClarity’s Auditor Enterprise and Auditor Branch appliances features over 30 improvements, including an enhanced vulnerability quarantine system, integration with two additional smart switches and reporting tools. Other new features of Auditor v5.0 include improved asset discovery and inventory alerting engines, automated encrypted backups to Windows and Linux servers and logs that can be exported for forensic analysis and compliance requirements. "Auditor v5.0 is the best-in-class solution to the biggest problem in network security today," says Gary Miliefsky, founder and CTO of NetClarity. "We’ve reached a major milestone with this release by delivering a product that automatically detects, deters, defends and defeats exploiters." Auditor v5.0 starts at $1,295 and scales depending on the number of assets of devices being protected. It is available through NetClarity and its distributor and reseller partners.
