Ensim Offers Unify Enterprise 2.5

June 11, 2008 -- (WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) -- Hosting software provider Ensim (ensim.com) announced on Tuesday it is offering Ensim Unify Enterprise Edition, Version 2.5.

The solution enables enterprises to tackle such challenges as provisioning, password management, role management, and auditing and compliance of Active Directory servers, Exchange and mobility applications through a secure web-based management portal.

Over the past couple weeks Ensim has been actively releasing new versions of its tools, such as Ensim Unify Password Manager 2.5 and Unify Active Directory Manager 2.5. The company will demonstrate this latest Unify Enterprise platform at Microsoft TechEd North America, held at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Florida from June 10 to 13.

"The theme of this year's TechEd event is IT's evolution from an organizational cost center to a strategic asset, a perfect topic for Ensim as our Unify 2.5 suite enables IT departments to have greater efficiency," says Francois Depayras, VP of marketing and alliances at Ensim. "We're excited to have the opportunity to demonstrate how Unify's snap-in management tools reduce complexity while maximizing flexibility, availability and performance."

Ensim's Unify Enterprise platform is designed to simplify and standardize user provisioning and access control for Active Directory, MS Exchange and mobile device infrastructure including Blackberry, Good and Windows Mobile.

Enterprises can choose to either purchase its individual tools or as a complete suite, providing them with an IT provisioning policy to be centrally and securely implemented from a web-based user interface or configurable self-service portal. This enables them to nearly cut down on all downtime caused by any misconfigurations.    The latest 2.5 release includes many new features, such as fine grain role delegation, simplified policy-based provisioning, customizable provisioning policies, the ablity to change and audit logs, enhanced alert notification capabilities and support for multiple domain controllers.

Ensim, a Microsoft Gold Certified partner, says it provides user provisioning and access control software to service providers and enterprises worldwide to "accelerate and enable deployment of integrated solutions, simplify and automate secure management of complex environments and increase user and IT productivity."
