Intransa Offers Sonasoft Tools

May 24, 2006 -- (WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) -- IP storage solution provider Intransa (intransa.com) announced on Monday it has teamed up with backup and recovery software developer Sonasoft (sonasoft.com) to provide an advanced backup and recovery IP SAN solution.

Intransa will be reselling Sonasoft's Sonasafe suite of software tools, which are designed to make “point-and-click” backup and recovery easy through an intuitive user interface. Intransa can provide its customers with an integrated backup and recovery replication solution that employs IP SAN technology with Sonasoft's recovery software, enabling customers to use the same storage platform for their primary and backup data.

"The Intransa Sonasoft joint solution offers a unique backup and recovery solution to IP customers," says Vas Srinivasan, Sonasoft's VP of marketing. "Combining Intransa's and Sonasoft's technology innovation results in customers enjoying best-of-breed, high-performance solutions that work to create total protection for multiple Microsoft applications."

The solution is available immediately and will be sold worldwide through an Intransa reseller agreement.
