Verio Attracts Resellers with Free Month of VPS Hosting: Companies looking to boost revenues are finding Verio's Free VPS promotion the right fit for getting started as Hosting Reseller.

May 23, 2008 -- (WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) -- Dedicated hosting provider The Planet (theplanet.com) said Friday that it has launched another discount on dedicated servers, a pretty regular practice for the company.

In this case, the company is reducing rates for high-end servers, including single- and dual-core processors as well as multi-processor and multi-core servers.

The promotion also applies to certain servers within the company's recently-launched virtual racks offering.

"More than 22,000 customers rely on our products and services to run their businesses, so we're committed to offering the latest technology at competitive prices," says The Planet's director of product management Urvish Vashi, in the press release. "Power and performance are key for our customers, so we're offering steep discounts on some of our most robust boxes."

The company has posted a page to its website detailing its currently discounted servers.

The Planet most recently ran a promotion on Xeon 2.4 servers in March of this year.

According to the company, the discounts announced this week will be available as long as the promotional supplies last.
