May 17, 2007 -- (WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) -- Data center and managed services provider Hosted Solutions (hostedsolutions.com) announced on Thursday  it is providing Software-as-a-Service provider Origin Data (origindata.com) with managed hosting solutions.

Hosted Solutions will provide Origin Data with a fully managed infrastructure in which Origin Data's core applications will reside. The infrastructure will consist of dedicated servers, load balancing switches, firewalls, storage area network and a SQL database cluster. 

Hosted Solutions will also provide its Hi-Touch OS Management service, licensing, backup and recovery services, SQL Administration services and network connectivity from its SAS 70 Type II certified Charlotte Data Center. Hosted Solutions offers Software-as-a-Service companies cost effective and functional services that require little maintenance.

"With our dedicated server model and internal delivery of managed services, we are able to deliver core infrastructure and management with a 100 percent service level agreement to our customers.  This is exactly what Origin Data needed and we are excited to partner with them."

The company recently announced that Overture Networks has selected its ISG 5000 product for Ethernet service deployments and flexible bandwidth between locations in Raleigh, and Charlotte, North Carolina.
