May 15, 2008 -- (WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) -- Domain asset management service company Moniker (moniker.com) announced the details of the auction of domain name properties it is planning for the T.R.A.F.F.I.C. East conference taking place in Orlando, Florida next week.
The company says it is auctioning a long list of premium domains, singling out Israel.com, blueray.com, gasprices.com and pay.com as domains being of particular value. A complete list of the domains up for auction, along with the rules and procedures for Moniker auctions, is posted on the company's website.
The auction will take place Friday, May 23, starting at 2 p.m. in the Grand Floridian Hotel, says the company.
While attendees of the conference are entitled to attend the auction and bid in person, bids will also be taken remotely through the SnapNames Live online auction platform developed by SnapNames, which is also operated by Moniker parent company Oversee (oversee.net). Moniker also intends to accept absentee bid forms or telephone proxy bidding.
The company will hold a separate "low and no reserve" auction on Tuesday, May 20, at 8 p.m. An extended online auction, beginning on the Friday, will continue through Thursday, May 29.
Moniker says it will, along with Domain Capital, offer financing to help use domain purchases made at the event for other transactions. The company says it will provide more information about these deals privately.
The Friday auction will be broadcast live on WebmasterRadio.fm (webmasterradio.fm), which will also host a chatroom during the event.
