Verio Attracts Resellers with Free Month of VPS Hosting: Companies looking to boost revenues are finding Verio's Free VPS promotion the right fit for getting started as Hosting Reseller.

May 15, 2007 -- (WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) -- UK Web hosting provider Streamline.Net (streamline.net) announced on Tuesday its Web site is now carbon neutral. The Web host is also giving all of its new and existing customers the opportunity to also go carbon neutral.

Streamline.Net has collaborated with carbon neutralizing company CoCo2 (coco2.org) in order to allow its Customers to help the environment by offsetting the carbon used to power its Web site with the planting of trees by CoCo2.

"The Internet has already helped cut down carbon emissions by allowing people to shop from home, however there's still a carbon implication to powering a server and this is why I'm so exciting about offing this new service," says Andrew Dollamore, CEO of Streamline.Net. "Now everyone hosted with Streamline.Net has the option to do their bit, and I only hope our competitors decide to follow suit." StreamlineNet hosts over 100,000 domain names for over 60,000 customers and adds around 200 domains to its servers every day, says the company. Hosting packages start from £13.99 per year and servers from £26.99 per month.

The company recently announced it exclusively released the on board footage of its sponsored racing vehicle, Aston Martin DBRS9, via its Web site.
