April 25, 2008 -- (WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) -- Malaysia-based web hosting provider Aspiration Hosting (aspirationhosting.com) announced on Friday that it has officially launched its services and has entered the Web hosting market as a peer and competitor offering shared and reseller hosting services.
The company, which is presumably not a very large hosting provider, claims to host all websites in a "non-oversold environment" to ensure the speed and uptime of its clients' websites are always in top-notch condition.
"The web hosting industry is flooded with lots of dishonest web hosting companies which oversells their resources to maximize their profit," says James Lee, CEO of Aspiration Hosting. "However, this will definitely slow down the websites in these servers and customers will be easily suspended for using too much of their CPU usage and RAM resources. We are aware of this disease in the industry and thus, Aspiration Hosting is here to eliminate all the problems faced by most web hosting clients."
In the same press release, Aspiration Hosting goes on to say that it will not set any limit to the CPU and RAM resources used by customers either, an apparent contradiction to its non-overselling pledge.
"Instead, we ask users to be fair and considerate in what they use," says Lee. "Users should not use resources in such a way that it will have adverse affects on other users. By employing a policy with no set limits, this effectively allows customers to use much more resources when it is available and required rather than being limited constantly."
Aspiration Hosting also provides domain registration services as well as SSL certificates from GeoTrust, and is currently working on rolling out virtual and dedicated hosting packages.
Other web hosting providers coming out of Malaysia include Exabytes Network (exabytes.com.my), Smart Team Networks (smartteam.net) and Hostpro2u (hostpro2u.com).
