March 30, 2007 -- (WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) -- Australian-based technology solutions provider Vigabyte (vigabyte.com) recently announced its virtual infrastructure services suite, enabling companies to instantly purchase and scale up their hosting, server and data capacity through a simple Web console.

Vigabyte is a suite of virtual infrastructure solutions that provide enterprises access to secure, flexible, responsive IT resources. The technology includes smart open source software that connects the customer IT network to a virtual machine environment, giving IT managers complete control over their technology systems. With Vigabyte, companies can now upgrade their IT resources instantly online, and respond to the immediate demands of the business without disruption, says the company.

"Vigabyte is a virtual data provider that challenges existing IT infrastructure models by offering enterprises on demand IT services on the fly, at a reasonable price," says Vigabyte founder and managing director Anoosh Manzoori. "We offer a truly disruptive virtual IT model that enables companies to set up their Vigabyte server instantly. We allow large corporations and all sizes of business to undertake instant server provisioning and immediate virtual data, to provide them with a competitive advantage."

The company secured more than one hundred small business and enterprise customers in Australia during its trial phase and will soon expand into the US market. Vigabyte says it already leases hosting capacity with Web hosting provider The Planet enabling it to easily turn on the service in that market.
