(WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) -- Colocation provider nGenX (www.ngenx.com) and Norlight (www.norlight.com) recently announced it has opened three data centers in Indianapolis, Lafayette, Indiana, and Louisville, Kentucky.

This expands the company's data center footprint from two to five data centers in the Midwest.

As part of this expansion effort, nGenX’s new data centers will support colocation customers who require a public data center solution for outsourcing servers or other IT equipment.

nGenX uses its two existing SAS 70, Type II certified data centers in Evansville, Indiana and Brookfield, Wisconsin to host its cloud computing and colocation services.

All five nGenX data centers are equipped with Ethernet connectivity for high-availability and disaster recovery.

Bye, executive vice president of nGenX. "We see a tremendous opportunity to support the information technology needs of area businesses so they can avoid capital expenditures and focus on core business issues."

nGenX operates five high-availability data centers in the Midwest, from which it provides cloud computing and infrastructure as a service solutions for its customers' data, applications, servers and backup.
