February 23, 2006 -- (WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) -- Web hosting and telecommunications provider XO Communications (xo.com) announced on Wednesday that it had made several enhancements to its XOptions Flex voice over Internet Protocol and Web hosting bundle.

The company says its XOptions Flex is the first VoIP services bundle for businesses that combines unlimited local and long distance calling, dedicated internet access and Web hosting for a flat monthly rate. The VoIP service includes dynamic bandwidth allocation, voice virtual private networking and simple Web-based administration.

XO says the enhancements will expand the market for XOptions Flex, making it available to businesses with up to 160 employees at each location - a market that includes more than 4 million business in the US, spending more than $50 billion annually on telecommunications.

"XOptions Flex enables businesses to quickly and cost-effectively take advantage of the benefits of VoIP without having to invest in new equipment," says Charlie Cary, vice president of marketing at XO Communications. "In less than one year, nearly 3,000 businesses have deployed XOptions Flex, and these enhancements will enable businesses with larger offices to enjoy the benefits XOptions Flex offers."
