Verio Attracts Resellers with Free Month of VPS Hosting: Companies looking to boost revenues are finding Verio's Free VPS promotion the right fit for getting started as Hosting Reseller.

February 20, 2008 -- (WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) -- Managed hosting provider Verio (verio.com) announced on Wednesday it has appointed Steve Renda to VP of sales and marketing, bringing more than 20 years of experience in the technology and telecommunications industries.

Renda will oversee Verio's worldwide direct, wholesale and channel sales strategy and operations, as well as the company's business development and marketing initiatives. He will report to Verio's chief operating officer Dennis Boyle and will be based out of the company's office in the Denver, Colorado area.

Prior to joining Verio, Renda served as the senior VP of sales and marketing for MX Logic, where he helped expand the company's managed security services in North America, Europe and Asia. His background in software and managed services includes a tenure at Sprint, where he served in leadership roles in engineering, product development, marketing, strategic planning, finance and sales.

"Steve has a proven track record in delivering managed services and business solutions to the small and mid-market business sector," says Dennis Boyle, chief operating officer for Verio. "His insight and expertise aligns perfectly with Verio's goal to help companies and partners realize increased sales and value through their online business operations. We're confident in his ability to help bring our services to a broader global audience, and to leverage our distribution channels to reach a range of partners and customers."
