February 1, 2006 -- (WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) -- Data center automation software developer Opalis Software (opalis.com) announced on Tuesday that Perspective Solutions (perspectivegroup.com) would resell and support Opalis software in Europe.

According to the agreement, Perspective will focus on the UK and Nordic markets, and will provide professional services and training for Opalis Software.

"Perspective has a proven market presence in the UK and the technical expertise we are looking for," says Scott Broder, CEO for Opalis. "That, coupled with our solution of enabling enterprises to achieve a truly automated data center, is a perfect match for us to make real traction in the region. We are pleased and excited that such a well-respected organization is partnering with Opalis, enabling European clients to obtain the benefits of the Opalis solution in their data centers."

Version 5.0 of Opalis Integration Server, a solution for automating IT operations and infrastructure in the data center, was launched late last year. Last week the company announced that Integration Server 5.0 had received certification for several Windows platforms.
