January 31, 2006 -- (WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) -- Data center and colocation provider Telehouse (telehouse.com) announced on Monday it is planning its next Breakfast On Broadway seminar, in association with OCG-Optical Communications Group and ISPnet. The free seminar will take place on Wednesday, February 15 from 8:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at the Broadway Center in Manhattan.

February's seminar will focus predominately on significant New York metro area development, in other words, the availability, capacity and impact of a new, completely underground dark fiber network connecting Manhattan, Brooklyn, Staten Island and New Jersey.

The keynote speaker will be OCG vice president Ed Stegeman, who will discuss such issues as how this new route will change the area's telecom dynamic, the technical advantages of the various networks in the area, and the role that fully underground networks play in regulatory and compliance solutions for the enterprise.

Other topics to be addressed include the changing needs of ISP clients in regards to greater network security, redundancy and geographical location, presented by ISPnet president Bob Tinkelman. He will discuss the key issues ISPs should take into account in today's marketplace, in terms of technology, networking, client operations and physical locations.
