January 26, 2007 -- (WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) -- Data center operator and managed services provider Peak 10 (peak10.com) announced on Friday it plans to more than double its Jacksonville, Florida operation by adding a second data center to support the company?s rapid growth in Florida.

As a result of the expansion, Peak 10 will own and operate nine data centers spread throughout the eastern United States. The company expects the new facility to be completed before the third quarter of this year.

"Our business in Jacksonville continues its consistent growth as more and more organizations look to outsource the management of complex information technology environments," says Allen Skipper, VP and GM of Peak 10 Jacksonville. "The expansion project underway confirms our long-term commitment to the Jacksonville business community and ensures our ability to provide customers with proven solutions for maintaining around the clock availability, security and integrity of their critical data and business applications."

Peak 10 is building a second data center in Jacksonville to meet current and future demand for infrastructure hosting and high-end managed services. The new data center will share the same location as Peak 10's existing facility and meet its high standards for security and redundancy.
