January 23, 2006 -- (WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) -- Managed Web hosting and security services provider DataPipe (datapipe.com) announced on Monday it has joined PBS.org to help deliver the online TV series, NerdTV (pbs.org/nerdtv).

Launched in September, 2005 by creator Robert X. Cringely, NerdTV features weekly one-hour interviews with a well-known figures from the technology sector, such as the company heads and founders of Google, PayPal, Sun Microsystems, Apple Computer and Linux.

"This program has an enormous amount of buzz in the tech community and we are pleased to be able to support the project," says Robb Allen, CEO of DataPipe. "We believe in the concept and are big fans of Mr. Cringely and his work."

The NerdTV Web site includes a variety of clips that are available for download in MPEG-4 format and presented under a Creative Commons license, enabling viewers to use the footage in their own video productions.
