January 16, 2008 -- (WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) -- Managed hosting and dedicated service provider Frontpages Web Hosting Network (fpweb.net) announced on Tuesday it has signed a contract to provide an enterprise level SharePoint based solution and high-level IT support for the New York Yankees (yankees.mlb.com).

The New York Yankees approached Frontpages seeking a collaborative project management tool to streamline its global business practices. Frontpages suggested a custom SharePoint based solution to meet its needs, which enables the Yankees to maximum SharePoint power, uptime, control and security.  The Web host will host its IT infrastructure, as well as provide full IT support. "Frontpages is proud to be the SharePoint host for one of the largest sports team brands in the world," says Rob LaMear, president of Frontpages.
