(WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) -- Domain registrar and web hosting provider Go Daddy (www.godaddy.com) announced on Wednesday it will once again be sponsoring NASCAR (www.nascar.com), returning for the 2009 season with another sponsorship deal featuring Dale Earnhardt Jr. and Brad Keselowski.
The sponsorship deal spans both the Sprint Cup and Nationwide Series in partnership with Hendrick Motorsports and JR Motorsports.
Go Daddy will be the primary sponsor for 20 races in the 2009 Nationwide Series, with NASCAR star driver Dale Earnhardt Jr. returning for another season.
Earnhardt has also designed the No. 5 GoDaddy.com Chevrolets for the 2009 Nationwide Series season.
The domain registrar first debuted its first NASCAR team featuring Earnhardt, Jr. in December 2007, as well as the Earnhardt-designed No. 5 GoDaddy.com Chevrolets.
Go Daddy is currently streaming its latest television spot featuring Dale Earnhardt Jr. on its website.
"Go Daddy has an all-star lineup of drivers including NASCAR's Dale Earnhardt Jr. and IndyCar's Danica Patrick," says Bob Parsons, Go Daddy CEO and founder. "What could be better than to expand our sponsorship of these powerhouse racers and return to Sprint Cup competition with Brad Keselowski."
In the past, Go Daddy has sponsored many other professional racing sports-related events, including Indy 500, the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series and most recently, the NASCAR Napa Auto Parts 200 race on Canadian sports network TSN.
Keselowski, JR Motorsports' second-year driver, recently won the Nationwide Series Most Popular Driver Award. He will drive the No. 88 GoDaddy.com Chevrolets in 18 Nationwide Series races.
Go Daddy will also be the primary sponsor of the No. 25 GoDaddy.com Chevrolets for seven races in the Sprint Cup Series, where Keselowski will be competiting.
The company will also be an associate sponsor on Mark Martin's No. 5 Chevrolets in the Sprint Cup Series.
