T-Systems Picks Equinix Data Centers

September 8, 2004 -- (WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) -- Data center and Internet exchange service provider Equinix (equinix.com) and telecommunications carrier T-Systems (t-systems.com ), jointly announced on Wenesday that T-Systems has increased its network reach by acquiring a presence in four Equinix Internet Business Exchange centers in the United States. According to the companies, the agreement allows T-systems direct access to 200 network providers and significantly expands its peering footprint.
