September 10, 2004 -- (WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) -- Web hosting provider SAVVIS (savvis.net) said on Thursday that it has dumped 40 customers who have been identified as spammers with the help of Spamhaus (spamhaus.org), a non-profit organization dedicated to the fight against unsolicited bulk email. SAVVIS took the action after being notified by Spamhaus that it was providing services to known spammers. Spamhaus was able to determine this with information from its database, Register of Known Spam Operations.
SpamCop Restraining Order Lifted
May 14, 2004 -- (WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) -- According to a report in the Register, a temporary restraining order against spam reporting organization SpamCop (spamcop.com) has been lifted.

The report says UUNet has 151 listings on the spammers block list (SBL). The second highest ranking company is chinanet-qd with 81 entries. Chinanet-qd also hosts the worst spammer on Spamhaus' ROSKO list of known spam operations.
