Yahoo Boosts Email Storage Capacity

May 14, 2004 — (WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) — According to reports, Yahoo (yahoo.com) said on Thursday that it plans to dramatically increase the storage limits for its free email users while raising the limits for its premium email subscribers up to “virtually unlimited” capacity.

Spymac Increases Mail Storage to 1GB

The company says it is offering both POP3 and Webmail access to the email accounts. The Web-based mail will include banner advertising and 100 MB of Web hosting space. An annual free of $20 will remove the advertising and increase the amount of hosting space, Spymac said.
