January 25, 2012 — Japanese telecommunications provider NTT Communications announced on Wednesday that it has acquired a 74 percent stake in Indian data center services provider Netmagic Solutions. The acquisition is subject to the approval of authorities in India, according to the press release. NTT Com says the addition of Netmagic’s data center services and sites will expand its capability to provide cloud service to the Indian market.
January 24, 2012 — Colocation provider C7 Data Centers announced on Tuesday that it has won a colocation contract from Loma Linda University Medical Center. According to the press release, the contract was awarded after a national evaluation and selection process by DataCenterAndColocation, a colocation consulting company. This customer win comes more than six months after C7 Data Centers named Wes Swenson, fromer president of C7 to CEO.
