January 18, 2012 — Colocation provider RagingWire Data Centers announced on Wednesday that its original Sacramento data center CA1 has earned the US Environmental Protection Agency’s ENERGY STAR certification. Combell recently came into the news when researchers at Symantec found one of its servers was being used for malicious activity, and Combell shut down the server two days after being notified.

December 12, 2011 — Data center operator Cavern Technologies announced on Monday it has successfully completed the SSAE 16 Type II audit for its data center in the Kansas City Metropolitan Area. The move comes a few months after Cavern expanded the data center with 16 additional private data suites ranging from 150 to 2,000 square feet.
