November 9, 2011 — Telecommunications provider Primus Telecommunications Canada announced on Wednesday it has begun construction on a new 30,000-square-foot data center in Markham, Ontario, Canada to meet the growing demand among greater Toronto area businesses for mission critical and business continuity solutions.
March 1, 2011 — Telecommunications provider Primus Telecommunications Group it has completed its acquisition of wholesale telecom exchange services Arbinet announced on Tuesday in an all-stock transaction. The merger agreement was first announced last November, and further amended on December 14. As a result of the transaction, Arbinet stockholders will receive about 0.5817 shares of Primus common stock for each share of Arbinet common stock that they hold.
