July 11, 2011 — Digital optical networking systems provider Infinera announced on Monday it has named Mike Kelly in the newly created position of vice president of sales for the cable market. The move is just one of many appointments Infinera has announced in recent months, which included Michael Capuano as vice president of corporate marketing, and Andrew Bond-Webster as vice president of sales for Asia Pacific.
June 30, 2011 — Digital optical networking systems provider Infinera announced on Wednesday it has delivered technology to support submarine cable operator Pacnet’s restoration of damaged terrestrial and subsea optical networks following the earthquakes and tsunami which devastated northeast Japan earlier this year.
