ICANN Names Vice President of Europe, Vice President of Latin America

January 13, 2012 — ICANN announced on Thursday it has named Nigel Hickson has been appointed ICANN’s vice president for Europe, and Rodrigo de la Parra as ICANN’s vice president for Latin America. The appointment news comes a few months after ICANN announced that ICANN president and CEO Rod Beckstrom would be leaving his CEO post at the end of his three-year term in July.
