Name Intelligence's domain portfolio statistics, which can be found at RegistrarStats (registrarstats.com), now rank Wild West Domains the ninth largest domain name registrar.
The registrar currently has more than 1.4 million domain names under management. The findings were compiled using zone files from the registries for .com, .net, .org, .info, .biz, and .us.
"Earlier this year, GoDaddy.com became the largest domain name registrar worldwide in terms of domains under management," says Jay Westerdal, CEO of Name Intelligence "Now, its sister company, Wild West Domains, has risen to a top 10 ranking.
