December 2, 2002 -- (WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) -- UK-based hosting software developer Webhost Automation Ltd. (webhostautomation.com) announced on Monday that it has launched its Helm 3.0 multi-server management system for Windows 2000-based Web hosts.
Webhost Automation says Helm is the only off-the-shelf hosting automation software to offer true multi-server service distribution for Windows 2000. The product is designed for Web hosting operations of any size, as well as data centers and ISPs, automating day-to-day tasks.
According to Webhost Automation, Helm can run on a single server or manage multiple dedicated and shared servers through its unique service distribution system, making it a powerful commercial and infrastructure component of a Web hosting business.
"All web hosting providers have to start somewhere,? says Mark Hall, director of Webhost Automation, ?and it is usually on just one or two servers. Being able to grow to hundreds or thousands of servers is very important, and Helm will support this growth every step of the way."
Helm, says Webhost Automation, is already in use by several Web hosting companies, including Microsoft .NET hosting provider Interscape Technologies.
